The Parish is able to offer a significant range of engaging activities for children and schools, closely linked to the needs of the National Curriculum.
Singing in Primary Schools
Building on our current outreach programme with the City’s Music Service, the Government are funding us to deliver its
'SING UP'
programme in Wolverhampton. This involves three distinct components:
- Visits by St Peter’s Church staff and choristers to three primary schools each term leading to a termly concert in church.
- The formation of a weekly Junior Choir for years 3-8, giving 2 concerts a year in the City.
- Animateurs to visit 20-30 schools during the course of each year to develop singing.

Vestments, Pilgrimages and Global Diversity
All Saints’ Church is able to offer a number of activities to local schools. We also have a set of mini-vestments, a pilgrimage route from All Saints to St Peter's and help schools wishing to explore the global diversity of Christianity.

The Wulfruna Learning Centre
This is part of the historic Collegiate Church of St Peter in Wolverhampton City Centre, and is a named resource in the LEA’s non-statutory guidance for its new Agreed RE Syllabus.
In addition to the highly successful and revitalised
‘Open Door’ project in October for Primary Schools we now have a number of other curriculum resources available which have been developed by teachers for teachers. They currently include:
- Exploring Emotions - Year 6 + KS 3 & 4
- Maths 1 - KS1
- Maths 2 - Years 3 & 4
- Maths 3 - Years 5-7
- Animal Ark - KS1 + Years 3 & 4
- Signs & Symbols 1 - KS1
- Signs & Symbols 2 - KS 2 + Year 7
Our emphasis is on active and enjoyable learning. At the end of a visit we ask that the lead member of staff completes an evaluation form to assist in the ongoing improvement of learning at the Centre.
New activities being developed include historic experience days giving children a real feel for life in Saxon, Medieval or Tudor times.
